UFC Champion Conor McGregor Adds BMW i8 To His Collection

When you’re the most popular male fighter in the UFC, you can drop more than $450,000 on a couple of luxury cars in a day because big time fights equal big time paychecks.

UFC interim featherweight champion Conor McGregor is no stranger to expensive luxury vehicles, as he just showed off his 2016 Cadillac Escalade last week via Instagram. This week, the 27-year-old Irishman decided to add both a BMW i8 and Mercedes S-Class to his growing car collection.

The BMW i8 is a hybrid vehicle equipped with a turbocharged 1.5-liter three-cylinder engine and two additional electric motors, which work together to produce an impressive 357 horsepower. Additionally, the i8 is capable of rocketing from 0-to-60 mph in just 3.6 seconds and has a top-speed of 155 mph, according to Car and Driver.

McGregor shared another picture last week, with a caption that shed light on why he had so many vehicles.

McGregor will fight José Aldo for the undisputed UFC Featherweight Championship on December 12th in Las Vegas.

One can only wonder what type of tricked out vehicle he will purchase if McGregor defeats Aldo next month and retains his ranking as the No. 1 featherweight in the UFC.
