Vaccar Hyundai Tucson Sport Concept 2017 SEMA Show custom crossover SUV

While children salivate over the prospect of buckets full of candy during this time of the year, gearheads salivate over the many custom vehicles on display at the annual Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) Show in Las Vegas. This exposition brings together the greatest modern engineering visionaries to share and show off the best after-market products and productions in the world. Walking the aisles feels like being a kid in a candy store.

One delightful treat that’s sure to be nabbing the attention of the young-at-heart is a customized Hyundai Tucson Sport that’s received a collection of upgrades from tuning garage Vaccar.

Spotlight on the Vaccar Tucson Sport Concept

This custom vehicle gem has undergone a wealth of attractive upgrades, both under the hood and across its body. At its heart is a Boostec Turbocharger with R50 Blow-off Valve, accented by an AEM Air Intake System and Charge Pipe Kit. Additionally, the crossover benefits from performance enhancements thanks to a Mishimoto G-Line Intercooler, VMS Racing Baffled Oil-Catch Tank, and Magnaflow Performance Mufflers. Even the chassis gets Concept One Forged Wheels and a Vaccar-Power Stop Front and Rear Z23 Evolution Brake Kit.

Looks are a top priority for this one-of-a-kind Tucson, too, particularly the Blue Metallic color-change two-tone paint from BASF R-M Paint Systems that makes it a beauty to behold. Its attractiveness is further accentuated by Vaccar Front Lip, Side Skirts, Rear Diffuser and an M&S Mesh Front Grille.

Of course, the most notable aspect of this custom Hyundai is the level of digital enhancement it’s received in the form of AutoMeter AIRDRIVE WiFi Boost and Vaccar Android-powered 9-inch Multimedia, WiFi Head Unit, and wireless WiFi Controller.

“The Vaccar Tucson Sport Concept takes the Tucson far beyond its OEM roots without sacrificing reliability,” said Aaron Vaccar, President of Vaccar. “By building upon the well-developed Tucson platform, powertrain and design, we’ve given enthusiasts a vision of just where this affordable crossover aspires to go.”

Keep your eye on the SEMA Show, running Oct. 31 to Nov. 3, for other thrilling news and custom projects from Hyundai.
