Vauxhall took home two honors in the annual Trade Van Driver magazine awards, with the Vivaro being named the Trader’s Choice and the Vauxhall brand earning the title of Best Trade Van Range. The Trade Van Driver magazine awards are determined by both journalists and select readers and designed to recognize manufacturers and individuals alike in the retail van business.

“Small, medium and large, plus many permutations of these, the Vauxhall commercial range has transport solutions for all the professional trades,” said Trade Van Driver Magazine editor, Matthew Eisenegger. “For businesses that operate a single-brand policy Vauxhall has it all.”

Vauxhall’s lineup includes the likes of the compact Corsavan and Combo and the larger Movano and Vivaro. The lattermost model, the newest in Vauxhall’s range, earned the honor of Trader’s Choice due to the versatility provided by a number of variants including panel van, doublecab, combi, and platform.

“Ever popular with the various trades, the Vivaro benefits from functional design, comfort and extreme practicality,” added Eisenegger. “It’s built in Britain too, which is another big plus point.”

“This year is proving to be a very successful one for our CV range, both in terms of industry recognition and sales performance,” said Steve Bryant, Head of Commercial Vehicle Brand. “The Brit-built Vivaro is taking many of the accolades thanks to its practicality, efficiency and comfort. And it’s also great news for us to pick up awards across the whole range.”

Vauxhall also picked up awards at both the Fleet World Honours and Business Van Awards.
