It’s not the first time we’ve heard of a car company creating a song using just its vehicles, but it is the first time we’ve actually kind of enjoyed listening to one. Infiniti Middle East recently released a music video for a song made entirely from noises found in its vehicles. Check it out:

The song, which is titled “Chromatic,” was created by composer Megadon Betamax, and features four vehicles: the Q50, QX60, QX70, and QX80. The instruments used included the cars’ tire spins, gear shifts, brakes, exhaust roars, seatbelt clicks, and internal alerts.

The Q50 featured heavily in Infiniti’s song, “Chromatic”

“It was definitely going to be a challenge,” commented Betamax. “I live and breathe music, but I also love cars […]. Most people that have heard the track so far don’t believe it’s entirely made from car sound, and that’s what I wanted. I’m proud of this piece.”

Unlike other songs made entirely from car sounds, Infiniti’s “Chromatic” is actually pretty catchy and will have you bopping in your work chair, inviting all kinds of strange looks from passersby. While we’re not likely to go out and start buying car-created music, we’re definitely fans of this particular song!
