The glorious Aston Martin DB10

After months of teasing, Sony Pictures has finally released the full-length trailer for the upcoming James Bond movie, Spectre. As you might expect, it’s full of all the things that make Bond the best—fast cars, attractive women, Britishness, and plenty of explosions.

But there’s only one thing we were looking for when we first watched the trailer here at The News Wheel—James Bond’s next supercar.

Thirty seconds is all we had to wait to catch a glimpse of what’s really important—the tricked-out Aston Martin DB10. Known for being one of Bond’s favorite cars, this version goes from 0-to-60 in 3.2 seconds and, according to Q, has “some tricks up her sleeve” which include shooting flames out of its rear end.

“We’ve taken delivery now of eight Aston Martins,” action vehicles technical coordinator Neil Layton said back in April. “These are bespoke, these have been specially built for this film.” So no flame-throwing Aston Martin for us laypeople. Dry your eyes.

Of course, while no Bond movie would be complete without a bulletproof sports car filled with gadgets (and women), the Aston Martin isn’t the only vehicle we will see when Spectre makes its debut this November. Rumor has it there will also be a Fiat 500 (yes, a Fiat 500), a Range Rover, and a Jaguar C-X75 driven by Bond’s nemesis, Mr. Hinx (played by Dave Bautista). And we’re sure that’s just a few of the hundreds of cars that’ll be blown up while James searches for justice.

Spectre’s US release date is November 6, 2015, and I’ve already lined up a babysitter so I can be there to witness Daniel Craig’s latest outing as the iconic British spy.
