Vote to get this Lego Dodge Viper in stores

The Dodge Viper is an icon in the automotive industry, known for its record-breaking power, sexy silhouette, and endless options of customizable features. With a starting price tag of $87,995, though, this supercar tends to be out of budget for the majority of people.

But what if I told you that you could get your own Viper for a very small fraction of that price?

Get Real Power: See what the Dodge Challenger has to offer

Well, thanks to Lego, you have the opportunity to get your very own Dodge Viper. Granted, you won’t be able to drive it anywhere, since it’s only 15.75 inches long, 7-inches wide, and 4.5-inches tall, but it’s the thought that counts, right?

The Lego Ideas program has created a replica of the iconic American super car that uses about 2,000 pieces to highlight the Viper’s sleek silhouette. It was built by Lego designer Ben Smith. Rather than using the Lego Digital Designer, Smith built it by hand—much like the 2016 Viper is built— using photos of the Viper to make it as authentic as possible.

To get the Dodge Viper in stores, though, it needs 10,000 votes before it heads to a committee for approval. Only when it is approved will it be available for consumers.
