Watch Dogs Live App Awards Gamer with Custom 2014 Scion Tc
If you’re a fan of video games, then you are more than aware of the upcoming Ubisoft title Watch Dogs. Available May 27, the game tells the story of Aiden Pearce, who is able to utilize his hacking skills in order to manipulate electronic devices throughout an open-world setting and resolve a number of player objectives. Given the game’s focus on using smart phone devices to achieve a number of goals, it only makes sense that there would be a promotional iOS/Android app, Watch Dogs Live.
As seen in the video above, the app allows users to “hack their city” and participate in four real-world missions. One winner, a hacker by the name of “Dizzy 0321” (according to Touch Arcade), won a custom 2014 Scion Tc with Watch Dogs livery.
So, if you’re like us, you’re no doubt wondering why you haven’t heard about the Watch Dogs Live app before now. Well, that’s probably because if you’re anything like us, you don’t live in Canada. That’s right: Watch Dogs Live and the prize of a custom 2014 Scion Tc are only available to legal Canadian residents.
We here love the idea of using free apps as a means to promote your game and reward your audience…particularly with a new car. So we’ll just wait right here until Sega decides to release a Dark Souls II app that allows you to die over and over again on the go and, if you’re lucky, win a new car in the process (probably a car that will also kill you).
