Five regular people will test the new Ford Super Duty trucks

Ford is providing a unique opportunity for five fans to be among the first to test the all-new 2017 F-Series Super Duty. According to the automaker, a six-part video series entitled “We Own Work” will capture the experiences of five individuals selected from different industries to see how the new heavy duty truck meets their separate needs.

“We’re taking these customers behind the scenes to witness what goes into development and testing of the new Super Duty,” said Craig Schmatz, Ford F-Series Super Duty chief engineer. “Every day these customers work hard and rely on our trucks. They know better than anyone what it takes to get the job done and how Super Duty can make that happen.”

The individuals chosen for the series represent the industries of electric, gas, and sanitation; forestry; oil and gas extraction; heavy construction; and manufacturing. In each respective industry, more than 40% of all workers use Super Duty trucks to get their work done.

Episodes in the series will explore improvements related to lightweighting, technology, and power.
