The big weekend is almost here! The annual South by Southwest (SXSW) Festival in Austin, Texas, is taking place March 13th through March 22nd, and the city will be filled with up-and-coming creative talent being showcased and cross-promoted.

Mazda’s three-year sponsorship of the famous “indie” music and film festival begins this year in an effort to connect with young, trendy consumers. However, Mazda North America isn’t contributing to the 2015 SXSW Festival purely through financial support. Rather, the automaker is embracing the opportunity by offering multiple services and experiences for festival attendees.

Mazda Express: This complimentary ride service will drive attendees to all the points of interest around Austin. Ride with style in a 2016 Mazda CX-5 compact crossover SUV, Mazda6 midsize sedan, or the 2015 Mazda3 (either sedan or hatchback).

Mazda Gaming Expo: By partnering with Forza Horizon 2, Mazda will put gamers behind the wheel of custom-built driving simulators. The winners of the Mazda Livery Design Contest will also be announced on March 15th, followed by a meet-and-greet with the judges.

Mazda Connects Lounge: Attendees can cool off at the Austin Convention Center by plugging in their phones and taking a break from the festivities. Interactive touch screens share information about Mazda (including the 2016 Mazda CX-3 and MX-5 Miata on display) and allows visitors to plan their festival experience.

Mazda Sound Stage: Swing by 6th Street and San Jacinto to see Mogees turn a 2015 Mazda3 into a musical instrument, just like the device did in that Mazda UK commercial. This time, attendees will be able to try Mogees for themselves, creating music on the body of the Mazda3.

Meet @ Mazda: The best place to take a selfie will be at the Auditorium Shores Stage, where anyone can snap a photo with the Austin city skyline and SXSW festival in the background.

Mazda at The FADER FORT: Mazda owners can show their Mazda keys to enter a VIP lounge with games and an up-close introduction to the 2016 Mazda CX-3.
