2018 Nissan MaximaThe Nissan Maxima is one of the most dramatic vehicles in the Nissan lineup, earning it the moniker of four-door sports car. For 2018, the vehicle is getting a few upgrades and a new price, but for the most part the model moves into the new year unchanged.

According to a Nissan press release, the 2018 Maxima will be produced in five trim levels: S, SV, SL, SR, and Platinum. The base trim, S, will have a starting MSRP of $33,020. For all the bells and whistles, the Platinum trim level’s MSRP stands at a reasonable $40,690.

For the 2018 model year, the Maxima is getting upgraded to standard Android Auto to accompany the standard Apple CarPlay, so no matter what phone you have, connecting to your car will be easier than ever. Families with children will be happy that two USB rear charge ports are now standard to keep all passenger devices prepared for a long drive. Drivers will now be able to choose a premium Carnelian Red exterior color while the iconic V-motion grille has new black accents.

Beyond these minor upgrades, the new Maxima will keep many of the updates from 2017, including standard Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB) and Intelligent Forward Collision Warning (I-FCW) safety systems to keep passengers protected from changing road conditions.

As far as we know, the 2018 Nissan Maxima will go on sale in November. For more information and details about this model year, or any other vehicle in the Nissan lineup, pay a visit to a local Nissan dealership.
