With nearly identical names, the Cadillac ATS Sedan and Cadillac ATS-V Sedan are often lumped together. Their nameplates are quite similar and they are both sedans, but they’re not exactly the same. The 2018 Cadillac ATS Sedan is equipped with a standard 272-horsepower, 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine. Its upper two trims, the Luxury and Performance, come with a 3.6-liter V6 that gives off 335 horsepower and 285 lb-ft of torque. The four-cylinder can be paired to a six-speed manual or an eight-speed automatic transmission. The V6 is only available with an eight-speed automatic transmission.

The 2018 Cadillac ATS-V Sedan has a significantly upgraded engine: a 3.6=liter twin-turbo V6. This engine, available with a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic transmission, gives off 464 horsepower and 445 lb-ft of torque.
