Win a Customized, Autographed One Direction Honda Civic
In the never-ending battle for the almighty Millennial dollar, car companies have started decorating their vehicles with the imagery of hot young pop stars, much like Steve Buscemi putting on a “Music Band” t-shirt in order to investigate the goings-on at a local high school.
This weekend, Chevrolet got things started by slapping photos of Taylor Swift onto Tony Kanaan’s IndyCar (which then wiped out spectacularly during the first race), to promote T. Swift’s ongoing 1989 World Tour.
Now, Honda is fighting back, with a Honda Civic that’s been exclusively customized and autographed by the swoon-worthy members of Enlgish-Irish pop group One Direction.
The car is a promotion for this year’s annual Honda Civic Tour, which will feature the boys from 1D, as well as special guests Icona Pop.
The “Honda Civic Tour Presents One Direction On the Road Again” will begin the American leg of its worldwide stadium run on July 9, 2015, at San Diego’s Qualcomm Stadium, before heading to 16 other US cities.
“We’re so excited about heading out on tour in the US in July and are really thrilled to be part of the Honda Civic Tour,” said Niall (the cute one). “It’s going to be our best tour yet and we can’t wait to see our incredible fans!”
From now until June 4th, Honda is also offering a special “Buy 2, Get 2” discount, allowing you purchase a four pack of tickets to a 1D concert at a 50% discount. Go here to take advantage of the deal while supplies last.
As for the custom One Direction 2015 Honda Civic, it will be on display at each stop of the tour, and fans can enter to win the car for themselves at www.HondaCivicTour.com.
Below is a list of all the tour dates that have been announced so far. No info yet, though, on whether Zayn Malik is going to return to the group.
