Woman Can’t Find Gas Cap, Escape From Vicious Cycle
Here’s a pro tip: you can always tell which side of the car your gas cap is on by looking at the gas icon next to the fuel gauge on your dashboard. The little arrow there points to which side of the car the gas cap is on.
Here’s another pro tip: if your gas cap isn’t on the driver’s side right now, it probably never will be. No need to check the driver’s side, get back in the car, then get out and check the driver’s side again in the hopes that it will have magically appeared while you weren’t looking. Just try the other side of the car – you’ll be glad you did!
Both of those pieces of sage advice would have been a great help to the woman who just can’t seem to find her gas cap in the video below, try as she might:

We probably shouldn’t be too hard on this woman. Maybe this is a new car and it’s her first time driving it. Maybe this is her first time driving, period.
In the end, now we know why it’s still illegal to pump your own gas in New Jersey and Oregon – sometimes refueling is too complicated to be attempted by amateurs.
