Spoiler Alert: The Toyota Prius is among the 12 most popular green vehicles in America.

Green vehicles have become a dime a dozen, and for those of us who enjoy being able to breathe here on earth, that’s a really good thing. Of course, no vehicle is 100% green: EVs and fuel cell vehicles still rely on coal, hybrids still rely on gasoline, and diesel-powered vehicles still rely on diesel (shocker). But we’re heading in the right direction.

Luckily, not only are green vehicles becoming more popular on production lines, but they are also becoming more popular on roadways. That is, it’s not just automakers cranking out these cars to meet CAFE requirement; it’s also drivers themselves wanting cars that are cheaper to fuel and better for the environment. Yahoo!
