The experts at U.S. News & World Report rounded up the top six full-size SUVs for 2019, and Chevy snagged two of those limited spots with their well-equipped models — the 2020 Chevy Suburban and 2020 Tahoe.
Check Out: The 2020 Chevy Suburban
“The Chevrolet Suburban, at first glance, has a lot to offer. You’ll get a standard 355-horsepower V8 engine with the option to upgrade to a more powerful V8, an upscale and comfortable cabin, user-friendly technology, and plenty of space for passengers and cargo,” reports U.S. News & World Report writer Cherise Threewitt.
The well-appointed interior of the 2020 Suburban also gained favorable reviews from Threewitt, as did its standard connectivity features of Apple CarPlay, Wi-Fi hotspot, and Android Auto.
Ranking a spot higher than the Suburban is the 2020 Chevy Tahoe.
“The Chevy Tahoe earns the second spot in our rankings, thanks to a powerful yet efficient engine lineup and good reliability ratings,” Threewitt writes noting its impressive towing capability of 8,600 pounds.
The 2020 Tahoe is available at three trim levels — LS, LT, and Premier. Each trim is available with two-wheel or four-wheel drive.
The standard 4.3-liter EcoTec3 V8 is paired to a six-speed automatic transmission to generate 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. The available 6.2-liter EcoTec3 V8 engine can be paired to an available 10-speed automatic transmission ups the power and responsive performance to 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque.
