2013 Jeep Patriot Overview
What’s New for the 2013 Jeep Patriot
The Jeep Patriot remains unchanged for 2013.
2013 Jeep Patriot Exterior
The Jeep Patriot features the iconic Jeep front fascia including the automaker’s distinctive grill and round headlights. The aggressively-sculpted, rugged styling of the Jeep Patriot only begins to hint at the off-roading capability it can handle. The base-level Sport trim features standard 16-inch steel wheels, roof rails, and fog lights.
2013 Jeep Patriot Performance
The 2013 Jeep Patriot Sport and Latitude are powered by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 158 hp and 141 lb-ft of torque when equipped with standard front-wheel drive. A five-speed manual transmission comes standard and a continuously variable automatic transmission (CVT) is an option.
The Patriot Limited and “Freedom-Drive I” all-wheel-drive models come standard with a 2.4-liter four-cylinder that puts out 172 hp and 165 lb-ft of torque.
2013 Jeep Patriot Efficiency
EPA-estimated fuel economy for a Patriot with front-wheel drive and the CVT is rated at 22 mpg city, 28 mpg highway, and 24 mpg combined.
2013 Jeep Patriot Interior
The Jeep Patriot is practical in materials and design. The interior features hard plastics and simple, well-placed controls. The interior has been designed for utility – so you don’t have to worry about getting mud on the dash or dirt in the seats.
Higher level trims feature more technology and softer materials, but the same simple design concept remains.
A few unique features make the Patriot stand out, including the cargo area lamp that pops out to become a rechargeable LED flashlight and optional Boston Acoustics speakers that flip down from the lift-gate to provide music for your tailgate parties.
2013 Jeep Patriot Safety
The 2013 Jeep Patriot comes standard with antilock brakes, traction and stability control, and full-length side curtain airbags. Front side airbags are optional on all trims either in the available Security and Cargo Convenience Group or individually as stand-alone items.
