The heavy-duty truck arena is always an interesting competition to witness. The super magnates GM, Chrysler, and Ford have been trying to outdo each other’s vehicles for years, but this clash of titans never seems more impressive and awesome than in the heavy-duty truck category, because the trucks themselves are actual titans. And as of now, none seem quite as mighty as the 2013 Ram 3500.
They can all tow incredible weights, we know that. But the Ram 3500 HD can not only claim to pull the ludicrous amount of 30,000 pounds – it does it comfortably to boot. That’s a weight typically better left to semi-trucks, but the Ram manages to do it all the while showing off a handsome cabin and sharp styling that is rarely seen in that bracket.
The entire interior is surprisingly high-tech, redesigned from the Ram 1500 model and sporting a large 8.4-inch Uconnect touch screen infotainment system, in addition to a seven-inch TFT display mounted in the gauge cluster.
The Ram 3500 is the perfect truck for anyone wanting to tow anything short of a mountain while still looking classy.
