The 2014 Acura RLX is available with two different powertrain options. The first is a 3.5-liter V6 that generates 310 horsepower, which propels the RLX from 0-60 mph in 6.3 seconds. The second powertrain is a revolutionary hybrid system that produces an impressive 370 horsepower through its combined gas and electric engines.

The base 3.5-liter V6 in the 2014 Acura RLX returns an EPA-estimated 20 mpg city and 31 mpg highway. The surprisingly high-performing hybrid offers some serious consistency in terms of efficiency, as it returns 30 mpg city and 30 mpg highway.

Edmunds.com says, “You’ll immediately be struck by the sheer amount of space inside the Acura RLX.” One of the roomiest cabins in the segment only gets better with a slew of technologies, which includes not only an 8-inch navigation screen that can be controlled through voice commands, but also a 7-inch touchscreen interface that is mounted just below the intuitive navigation system.

The 2014 Acura RLX features a standard rearview camera and available front and rear parking sensors, along with standard full-length side curtain airbags, driver knee airbag, and antilock disc brakes. A blind spot monitoring system is also available.
