2014 Cadillac Saks Fifth Avenue ELR: A Study in Opulence
With a price tag of $75,995, the 2014 Cadillac ELR coupe might already qualify to most as something of an expensive car, despite the fact that it is the luxury brand’s first electric vehicle ever. Definitely a vehicle for those with something of an “automotive sweet tooth,” Cadillac has partnered with Saks Fifth Avenue, a high-end department store, to bring a bit more sugar in creating the 2014 Cadillac Saks Fifth Avenue ELR. The addition of the Saks Fifth Avenue brand brings even more luxury to the already luxurious model—along with a $89,500 price.
The Saks Fifth Avenue ELR edition Caddy defines the word “exclusive,” with features not seen on any other ELR. Finished in an exclusive White Diamond exterior with a choice of Jet Black or Light Cashmere in the interior hue, the styling is sharp and practically oozes opulence.
Owners of this special edition will also receive a few perks—rather than having to pay an extra $3,000 to have a charging station professionally installed, they get it for free, while also getting their own “ELR Concierge Representative,” essentially a point of contact for all aspects of the car, such as battery care, service scheduling, and charging.
Along with the 2014 Cadillac Saks Fifth Avenue ELR, Saks will also be featuring the 2014 Escalade in a window display and will host a variety of Cadillac-themed events throughout the holiday season.
