This year, optional gray-painted wheels with red-painted brake calipers are offered, as well as optional exterior black stripes. Besides these options, the 2014 Focus ST is largely unchanged.
2014 Ford Focus ST Exterior
The Ford Focus ST is a performance-oriented version of the Ford Focus four-door hatchback. This sleek hot hatch comes standard with 18-inch alloy wheels, performance summer tires, performance brakes, and an electronically controlled limited-slip front differential.
Upgrade to the ST2 or ST3 package and options like xenon headlights and heated mirrors become standard.

The Ford Focus ST comes standard with a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine that puts out 252 hp and 270 lb-ft of torque, and is paired with a six-speed close-ratio manual transmission.

EPA estimates the Focus ST gets 23 mpg city, 32 mpg highway, and 26 mpg combined. These estimates place the Ford ST near the top of the hot hatch segment in terms of fuel ratings.

Standard safety features include anti-lock disc brakes, stability control, front-seat side airbags, a and side curtain airbags. The Ford Sync system includes an emergency crash-notification, which automatically dials 911 in the event of a crash when paired with a phone.
In government crash tests, the Focus ST earns four out of five stars, and the best rating of “Good” in the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s crash tests.
