2014 Nissan Sentra Exterior

With a body that widens a bit at the fenders and aerodynamic lines, the 2014 Sentra has a striking presence out on the road, adding a bit of sex appeal to the typically practical sedan. A rear decklid spoiler creates an even more aerodynamic body, while the prominent grille creates an eye catching front façade that can’t be ignored.

2014 Nissan Sentra Performance

A 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine powers every 2014 Sentra, churning out 130 hp and 128 lb-ft of torque. The base model gets a standard six-speed manual transmission, while a continuously variable transmission (CVT) is optional. All other models have a standard CVT. Combined, this drivetrain allows for the Sentra to accelerate from 0-60 in 9.7 seconds.

2014 Nissan Sentra Efficiency

For the six-speed manual, the Sentra has an EPA rating of 30 mpg combined, while the CVT gets you a bit more mpg at 34 combined.

2014 Nissan Sentra Interior

Though the interior of the 2014 Sentra is a bit on the conservative, side, the clean, modern lines create an aesthetically pleasing, comfortable cabin that is more than practical. NissanConnect allows you to utilize the new smartphone app integration feature, while the spacious seats both in the front and the back make sure every passenger is comfortable.

2014 Nissan Sentra Safety

According to government crash tests, the Sentra is worthy of four out of five possible stars for overall safety, while the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety awarded the 2014 Sentra their highest possible rating of “Good” in its moderate-overlap frontal offset, side impact, and roof strength crash tests. Antilock brakes, stability control, front-seat side airbags, full-length side curtain airbags, and active front head restraints are all standard safety features for the 2014 Sentra, while a rearview camera is optional.
