We might be a full week into 2015, but companies across the world are just now getting insight into how well they did last year. One company, Infiniti, posted record sales in 2014 of over 186,200 vehicles sold worldwide from January to December. This means that Infiniti global sales had its best year ever, and the Japanese luxury automaker plans on making 2015 even better.

2014 saw Infiniti post all-time high sales records in 19 markets. In December alone, the brand sold 19,700 vehicles worldwide, which was a humungous 7.5% more than December 2013. The United States remains Infiniti’s biggest market, with a 1% year-over-year increase and total sales of 117,300 vehicles in 2014. The brand’s second-biggest market, China, saw sales of more than 30,000 vehicles, which is an almost unbelievable 75.6% increase over Chinese sales in 2013.

Infiniti was one of the fastest-growing luxury brands in numerous markets in West Europe, the Middle East, and Mexico. Additionally, Infiniti almost doubled its sales volume in 2014 in markets like Asia and Oceania. And in Canada, Infiniti sold more than 10,000 vehicles in a single year for the first time ever.
