Saleen will be showing off the 2015 S302 Black Label Mustang during a special event in Los Angeles on March 20th, 2015, at 2 pm PST. It’s a pretty big deal, as evidenced by the giant countdown ticker on Saleen’s website. Despite the nearly-30-day wait, Saleen has already taken the cover off of the Black Label, giving a couple of good looks at its gorgeous beast.
Here’s what you get with the Saleen 302 Mustang Black Label: a retuned 302-cubic-inch V8 that generates 640 horsepower with the aid of a Saleen Supercharger, intercoolers, and external heat exchanger; a reworked front fascia with high-volume radiator intake; carbon fiber rear diffuser; and functional Red Butterfly™ center induction hood.
Other improvements over the recently-launched Saleen 302 White Label Mustang include leather and Alcantara two-tone Chevron performance seating, illuminated door sills, a nine-speaker Pro audio system with amp, an embroidered cargo mat, and Steve Saleen’s John Hancock on the dash.
The 2015 Saleen 302 Mustang Black Label will come standard with a three-year/36,000-mile limited warranty, and starting MSRP is listed at $62,362. Stay tuned for more on the Black Label, as well as the Yellow Label model that sits just a peg below it, after the special event takes place next month.
