2015 Toyota Camry Unveiled at The New York Auto Show
The 2015 Toyota Camry, which has been totally redesigned from top to bottom, has made its world debut today at the 2014 New York International Auto Show (NYIAS). Nearly every single aspect of the vehicle’s exterior has been re-imagined and remade from its 2014 model year predecessor, leaving a vehicle that looks more muscular, toned, and athletic while retaining and improving upon many of the key features that made the 2014 Camry one of the world’s most popular vehicles last year.

“Customers today love the durability, quality and value that the Camry represents, but they are looking for a little more style, comfort and performance, and this 2015 Camry has all of the above,” said Bob Carter, senior vice president of automotive operations of Toyota Motor Sales, USA, Inc., in a statement. “This is the new Camry, and it’s coming from the new Toyota.”
The exterior of the 2015 Toyota Camry will be punctuated by prominent character lines that run along its longer and wider frame. A new front bumper features a trapezoidal grille that exudes the sense of a lower center of gravity.

Because beauty is not skin deep, Toyota went out of their way to ensure that the 2015 Camry’s interior benefited from upgrades that suggest luxury quality at economy price. From soft-touch materials, French stitching, satin chrome, and metallic black trim, the Camry looks every bit the part of a luxury sedan. The completely redesigned center stack, a 4.2” multi-informational display, JBL custom-tuned audio, and a segment-first wireless charging system also help the new Camry bat outside of its league.

Toyota is also promising the quietest Camry ride ever, thanks to 30 percent more insulating material in the carpet and a number of other noise-reducing and eliminating steps. The 2015 Toyota Camry will be powered by either a 2.5-liter four-cylinder or 3.5-liter V6 engine. The 2015 Toyota Camry Hybrid will get a 2.5-liter Atkinson Cycle engine with Hybrid Synergy drive mated to an E-CVT.
