That stuff? It’s bad.
Wanna know what’s not bad? The 2015 Volvo XC90 configurator, that’s what.
Granted, configurating what we’re pretty sure is going to be an amazing vehicle is not actually going to increase your body temperature or put the feeling back in your toes, but it will make you feel warm and fuzzy to a certain extent.
The configurator does not yet include the option for the T8 plug-in hybrid powertrain, so you’re looking at a starting base price of $48,900 for the 316-horsepower T6 with all-wheel drive.
You can add the R-Design trim for an additional $4,000 or the Inscription trim for an extra $5,600.
Packages include Vision (Blind Spot Information System & Cross Traffic Alert, 360-degree surround view camera, auto-dimming and retractable mirrors), Climate (heated rear seats, steering wheel, windshield, and windshield washer nozzles), Climate with Graphical HUD, and Convenience (Park Assist Pilot/Front Park Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control with Pilot Assist & Lane Keeping Aid, Power 3rd row backrest, Homelink® Remote Garage Door Opener, compass for interior rearview mirror, grocery bag holder, and 12v power outlet).
There are a bevy of interior and exterior options to play around with, and you wind up topping out just beneath the $65,000 price roof, which isn’t bad at all for a brand-new luxury SUV that is tested to be among the safest vehicles on the road.
Not bad at all. Not like winter, though. Winter is just terrible. Go away, winter.
