The 2017 Kia Sorento is finally available

The 2017 Kia Sorento is finally available for consumers to order—and they better get them quick. The newest edition of the Sorento crossover is better than ever before, offering consumers everything they could ever want and more.

For the 2017 model year, Kia has not only made some tweaks to the Sorento’s style, but it has also increased the number of packages consumers can add on to their crossover. These include the Advance Touring and Advance Technology packages, which are available on all lower trim levels.

Along with these new packages, the 2017 Sorento also has a variety of safety features that were previously unavailable. Thanks to the new DRIVE WISE sub-brand, the Sorento now has features like Autonomous Emergency Braking, Dynamic Bending Lights, Advanced Smart Cruise Control, Forward Collision Warning, and Rear Cross-Traffic Alert. These safety features are all available for no extra cost for the SXL trim level, which is the top trim with a starting price tag of $43,900.

Finally, one of the most appealing changes to the Kia Sorento is something last year’s model couldn’t compare with. The crossover now comes available with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. This means that consumers can easily mirror their smartphones through the Sorento’s infotainment system, which allows them to stay connected without taking their eyes off the road ahead.

There are three engine options for the Sorento including a standard 2.4-liter four-cylinder, a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder, and a powerful 3.3-liter V6. Each engine is available with both front- or all-wheel drive and a standard six-speed automatic transmission. It also has five trim levels—L, LX, EX, SX, and SXL.
