A large sedan isn’t usually known for its balance of value and speed, but the 2018 Dodge Charger R/T is making it work.

Securing a spot on U.S. News & World Report’s 2018 list of Fastest Cars for the Money, the 2018 Dodge Charger R/T earned a score of 7.9 out of 10 from the experts.

“Dodge builds many flavors of the Charger sedan, from the plain vanilla base model that populates rental car fleets to the earth-shaking 707-horsepower Charger Hellcat. In the middle, you’ll find models that offer a great balance of price and performance. The 2018 Dodge Charger R/T is one of them,” John M. Vincent writes.

The 2018 Dodge Charger R/T is powered by a standard 5.7 HEMI® V8 engine paired to an eight-speed automatic transmission. This powertrain is capable of churning out 370 horsepower and 395 lb-ft of torque while earning an EPA-estimated fuel efficiency rating of 25 mpg on the highway.

The leather-wrapped performance steering wheel, leather-wrapped shift knob, and 160-MPH primary speedometer are stylish details in the well-appointed cabin. Staying connected to the outside world is easy with Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™ compatibility, and steering wheel-mounted audio controls allow for a fewer distractions. The Uconnect® 4C with 8.4-inch display in the Charger R/T delivers a user-friendly and crystal clear access to all your entertainment needs.

The standard ParkSense® Rear Park Assist System and ParkView® Rear Back Up Camera give you a broader picture of your surroundings when maneuvering your vehicle in and out of tricky spots.
