The 2019 Hyundai Elantra offers a variety of new features and design elements, both inside and out. On the exterior, you’ll notice the car’s redesigned hood, headlamps, grille, front and rear fascia, and fenders. Inside the cabin, you’ll find a new standard 5-inch touch-screen display, Bluetooth capabilities and steering wheel controls, a new rearview camera with guidelines, and a redesigned center cluster. The 2019 Elantra also offers numerous new available options, including the AVN 5.0 infotainment system with 8-inch touch screen and the Hyundai SmartSense safety package, which has been expanded to include Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keep Assist, and Driver Attention Alert.

Exterior
The 2019 Hyundai Elantra’s redesign gives it a sleeker, bolder look than previous years. Beyond the new exterior look, you’ll find standard 15-inch steel wheels (with 16-inch and 17-inch upgrades available), handsome Daytime Running Lights, and convenient power-folding side mirrors. LED headlights and taillights are available on the range-topping Limited trim.

Performance
The 2019 Hyundai Elantra keeps its engine options simple. On every trim except the Eco, you’ll get a 2.0-liter inline four-cylinder engine that generates 147 horsepower and 132 lb-ft of torque. This engine is paired with a six-speed manual transmission on the SE trim and with a six-speed automatic transmission with SHIFTRONIC on all other trims.
The Elantra’s Eco trim offers a 1.4-liter turbo inline-four engine that produces 128 horsepower and 156 lb-ft of torque. This engine is mated to a seven-speed EcoShift dual-clutch transmission with SHIFTRONIC.
Efficiency
No matter which engine-transmission combo you opt for, the 2019 Hyundai Elantra provides outstanding fuel economy. With a manual and 2.0-liter engine, you’ll get an EPA-estimated 26 mpg in the city, 36 mpg on the highway, and 29 mpg combined. With an automatic and a 2.0-liter engine, you’ll get 29 mpg in the city, 38 mpg on the highway, and 33 mpg combined. With the Eco trim’s smaller engine and seven-speed transmission, you’ll get 32 mpg in the city, 40 mpg on the highway, and 35 mpg combined.
Interior
You’ll stay comfortable and connected inside every trim level of the 2019 Hyundai Elantra. Even the base SE model includes premium cloth seating, Bluetooth and a blind-spot mirror. The SEL adds Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone integration, the Value Edition adds heated front seats plus a leather-wrapped shift knob and steering wheel, and the Limited adds leather-trimmed seating and wireless charging.

Every 2019 Hyundai Elantra trim offers key safety features like a rearview camera with dynamic guidelines, Electronic Stability Control, and a Tire Pressure Monitoring System.
