It’s too easy to dwell on the shoulda-woulda-couldas in life. Like, for example, you may wake up every morning kicking yourself for not getting a brand-new Chevy Cavalier during its legendary run in the United States. You listlessly stir your cream into your coffee, knowing that your life won’t be complete until you get behind the wheel of a brand-new Cavalier. Why doesn’t Chevy just bring the Cavalier back, you wonder.
Well, good news, champ! The 2020 Chevrolet Cavalier is a reality in Mexico, so if you’ve always dreamed of driving one of the most iconic cars ever built in the history of ever and all time, you can.
More Chevrolet Updates: 2020 Chevrolet Silverado HD gets mightier and bolder
Chevy relaunched the Cavalier in Mexico two years ago, and per Chevrolet Marketing Manager Adriana Schütte, it’s been a hit with customers because of its fuel efficiency and sporty yet practical styling. Now, the 2020 Chevrolet Cavalier makes this incredible sedan even more incredible with several astounding updates. These include
- New wheel designs
- Three new colors: Satin Gray, Pacific Blue (great TV show, by the way), and Terra Metallic
- Four airbags
- Disc brakes with four-wheel anti-lock braking
Feel that? That’s your heart racing a mile a minute. Try to keep up.

The 2020 Chevrolet Cavalier is available in four trims: LS (manual transmission, LS (automatic transmission), LT, and Premier. The manual-equipped LS starts at US$14,644 and the Premier tops out at US$17,883. The LT, which starts at US$16,664, adds a 7-inch display with integrated Chevrolet myLink and Apple CarPlay integration. With the Premier, you get leather inserts in the seats as well as a leather-wrapped steering wheel and shifter. Now this is luxury (and possibly pod racing).
May as well just call off all of those year-ending Car of the Year awards in North America. The 2020 Chevrolet Cavalier, by virtue of merely existing, already has them sewn up.
