The new 2020 Sonata Hybrid is one of the most efficient and advanced vehicles in the Hyundai lineup — and now it has an official price tag.

The entry-level Hyundai Sonata Hybrid Blue trim starts at $27,750 plus a $975 freight charge. The midrange Sonata Hybrid SEL costs $29,900. The premium Sonata Hybrid Limited bears a starting price of $35,300.
“Sonata Hybrid offers something new to the midsize sedan segment, with its leading fuel economy ratings, stylish appearance, incredible value, and more standard features,” said Brian Smith, Hyundai Motor America’s chief operating officer.
The Blue is the most efficient of the Sonata Hybrid’s three trims, getting an EPA-estimated 50 city mpg, 54 highway mpg, and 52 combined mpg — which translates into 686 miles of range.
The Limited trim gets a fuel-economy assist from its innovative solar roof-panel system, which charges the car’s batteries and helps it get an extra 2 mpg a day.

The Sonata Hybrid also uses special design and styling features to boost its fuel economy, including aerodynamic alloy wheels, a rear spoiler, and a cross-hole grille with active air flaps. The sedan’s gas-electric powertrain features Active Shift Control technology to enable quicker shifts and increase efficiency even more.
In addition to its efficient performance, the 2020 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid comes equipped with a variety of convenient and high-tech features to make travel safer and more connected.
Five SmartSense safety systems come standard on the Sonata Hybrid: Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Blind Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist, Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Following Assist, and Lane Keeping Assist.
The available Hyundai Digital Key system allows drivers to use an Android smartphone to unlock the Sonata Hybrid and even share a virtual key with other drivers. Other advanced options include a hands-free smart trunk; Qi high-speed wireless charging; Bose® audio; and a 10.25-inch touch screen with HD Radio traffic, navigation, and cloud-based speech recognition. Apple CarPlay and Android Auto come standard on every trim.
The 2020 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid will be available at dealerships across the U.S. starting in June.
