The 2020 Jeep Gladiator recently made history at “Mudfest,” an annual event coordinated by the Northwest Automotive Press Association, with three major award wins. Not only did the 2020 Gladiator rule in the Extreme and Truck Capability categories, the 2020 Gladiator also took home the top prize of the 2019 Northwest Outdoor Activity Vehicle of the Year.

“The 2019 NWAPA Outdoor Activity Vehicle of the Year competition featured the most diverse group of vehicles we’ve seen in its 25-year history,” says NWAPA President John Vincent of U.S. News & World Report. “The all-new 2020 Jeep Gladiator earned its title of Northwest Outdoor Activity Vehicle of the Year with an exceptionally functional blend of SUV and pickup attributes that northwest consumers crave.”
A total of 22 vehicles represented by 14 manufacturers were evaluated by NWAPA members. The evaluation, which took place at The Ridge Motorsports Park in Shelton, Washington, on and off the beaten path, used several categories as a guide — Compact and Midsize Utility, Subcompact Utility, Trucks and Extreme Capability, Premium Utility, and Family Utility.

The 2020 Gladiator comes equipped with a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine that is rated at 485 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. When properly equipped, the 2020 Gladiator can tow a maximum of 7,650 pounds. The 2020 Gladiator can even navigate water that reaches a max depth of 30 inches thanks to it customized water sealing and high air intake, taking off-roading adventures to new heights. Ground clearance of 11 inches will help your prevent damage to the underbody of the Gladiator Rubicon trim.
