For months, rumors of the Chevrolet Trailblazer returning to the U.S. have been spreading like wildfire. Still, it’s nice to get some official word on the subject, and that is precisely what Chevrolet has just provided.
The 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer will reportedly arrive at dealerships in early 2020.
The Trailblazer is the latest addition to Chevrolet’s rapidly expanding SUV lineup. It will be positioned between the Chevrolet Trax and the Chevrolet Equinox.
One of the main components Chevrolet wanted to focus on with the Trailblazer was customization. Its design allows drivers to do just that, while remaining true to Chevrolet’s overall design language.
Chevy has confirmed that the Trailblazer will be available with an RS trim. Said trim includes a standard two-tone roof, along with other hallmarks of the RS lineup.
Safety was another automotive component Chevrolet chose to focus on with the Trailblazer. As such, the compact SUV comes packed with a host of active safety features.
This safety suite includes Front Pedestrian Braking, Automatic Emergency Braking, and Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning. Optional features include Adaptive Cruise Control and Rear Park Assist.
“These features deliver added confidence and peace of mind behind the wheel, helping drivers monitor the vehicle’s surroundings and the driving environment with an available combination of camera, short-range radars and ultrasonic sensors,” explains Steve Majoros, director of Chevrolet passenger car and crossover marketing.
That’s all that Chevrolet has to reveal about the new 2021 Trailblazer at the moment. Further details, such as technology, performance specs, and pricing, will undoubtedly be revealed as the vehicle’s 2020 release date approaches.
