Nissan will have a big year in motorsports thanks to a team of great drivers, a strong GT Academy program, and the brand new Nissan GT-R LM NISMO race car. Here are the races you can’t miss this year:
24 Hours of Le Mans
Dates: June 13-14
The brand new Nissan GT-R LM NISMO race car, revealed during Super Bowl XLIX, was developed for the FIA World Endurance Championship. The pinnacle race of this series is the Le Mans 24 Hours race.
Drivers for the FIA World Endurance Championship will be Tsugio Matsuda, Olivier Pla, Harry Tincknell, Marc Gene, Lucas Ordonez, and Michael Krumm. The GT-R LM NISMO will wear #21 during the Le Mans race and #22 or #23 for the rest of the season.

Super GT GT500 Class Series
Dates: April 5 to November 15 – 8 races
You’ll catch the Nissan GT-R NISMO GT500 in this series, which won the championship last year. The race cars for 2015 have been updated to increase the durability of the engine and transmission, improve aerodynamics, and reduce weight.
Four Nissan GT-Rs will race this year, wearing #1, #12, #24, and #46. Yutaka Suzuki will drive for the NISMO team in the #1 car.

24 Hours of Nurburgring
Dates: May 14-17
Two Nissan GT-R NISMO GT3 race cars will appear at Nurburgring this year on the Nissan GT Academy Team. Drivers of the first car will be Alex Buncombe, Florian Srauss, Wolfgang Reip, and Jann Mardenborough. The second GT-R will be piloted by Michael Krumm, Lucas Ordonez, Kazuki Hoshino, and Katsumasa Chiyo.
