Warm weather and cars just seem to go together. Celebrate the season by catching one or more of these four auto shows in the Great Lake State.


Summer Makeover: Customize your Chevy with these nifty accessories


Hustle & Muscle Classic Car and Truck Show – July 21

Head to Brooklyn, Michigan on July 21 from noon to 6 p.m. to enjoy the 2019 Hustle & Muscle Classic Car and Truck Show. Entrants will compete for a chance to win the best-in-show prize, as well as one of eight specialty awards. The show is part of the Faster Horses Festival country music and camping extravaganza. So, once you’re done browsing classic cars and trucks, make sure to explore the variety of food vendors and catch one of the live performances on the main stage.

Mainstreet Memories Car Show – July 27

Port Huron’s 4th annual Mainstreet Memories Car Show provides auto-themed fun for the whole family on July 27 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Per the event’s website, this is a non-judged car show that focuses more on giving back to the community than encouraging competition. Donations during the event go directly to the Council on Aging. Music by Young’s Entertainment, raffle prizes, and monster trucks are help round out the festivities.

Cruise-to-Goodrich Car Show – Aug. 3

Feast your eyes on more than 240 unique cars and trucks when you attend the Cruise-to-Goodrich Car Show. Held on Aug. 3 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., the event schedule includes a parade, pie-eating contest, duck race, and a movie in the park. You can also browse local craft and food booths while soaking in the tunes of regional bands. A children’s zone will provide age-appropriate activities to keep young ones engaged. This year, the committee is giving back more than $5K to local families in need this year. It is also giving away two scholarships to help local students fund their education.

Corvettes America All Corvette Show – Aug. 10

If you’re a fan of the iconic Chevy Corvette, you won’t want to miss Clarkston’s 19th annual Corvettes America All Corvette Show. Mark your calendar for Aug. 10 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Per the event’s Facebook page, the show is one of the largest all-Corvette shows within a 200-mile radius of Detroit. Entrants will compete for a chance to win one of more than 30 awards. Proceeds from the silent auction will go to local charities. You can also peruse the wares of leading Corvette suppliers and auto-related businesses.
