Details about Roadkill Nights

Roadkill Nights marks the start of cruise week in the great Motor City. Thanks to its increasing popularity, the event is now adding another day, giving the MotorTrend Group the ability to provide more fun activities for you to enjoy.

One of the highlights of the event is the legal street drag racing. There will be two drag racing classes: Small Tire and Big Tire. The winners of each race will receive $5,000, with additional money being awarded to other competitors. The Dodge-powered vehicles that are the fastest will also receive $5,000.

When you’re not watching the drag race, you can take a drive on the wild side by going on a Dodge Thrill Ride. Ride in either the 707-horsepower Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat or the 717-horsepower Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat on the M1 Concourse. This attraction is not for the faint of heart, seeing as speeds can reach over 100 mph.

If you want a less intense experience at Roadkill Nights, then you can still visit the Show ‘n Shine, which will be displaying over 400 vehicles. There will also be a Kid’s Zone for the little ones and Dodge Challenger SRT Demon simulators for those wanting to challenge their driving skills.

Be sure to keep an eye out for celebrities while you attend the event as well. Celebrities attending as of late are Mike Finnegan, David Freiburger, Cristy Lee, and more.
