The Star Names Opel Corsa South Africa’s Best Budget Buy
The new Opel Corsa toppled competitors such as the Mazda2, Suzuki Celerio, Toyota Aygo, Volkswagen Up, and Honda Jazz for the Best of the Best Award in the Best Budget Buy segment in The Star’s annual vehicle awards. The Star is South Africa’s biggest newspaper.
The award was accepted by Denise Van Huyssteen, GM General Manager, Communications & PR Africa and Brian Olson, Vice-President, Vehicle Sales, Service, and Marketing.
The new Opel Cosa five-door hatchback features a crisp and modern exterior accentuated by available Bi-Xenon headlights and LED Daytime Running Lamps as well as several 15- and 16-inch wheel designs. The interior features high-quality materials, ambient LED lighting, and available IntelliLink with Siri Eyes Free compatibility.
The Corsa is powered by Opel’s 1.0-liter three-cylinder Turbo ecoFLEX Direct Injection engine, which generates 114 horsepower.
