The Ultimate Driving Machine: Why Buy BMW?
BMW 3 Series Sedan
Coming in the summer of 2019, the BMW 3 Series Sedan you’ll has the choice of three gasoline engines, three diesel engines, and a plug-in hybrid variant. It’s getting some aesthetic upgrades too — like new Citrine Black metallic, Oxide Grey metallic, Frozen Dark Grey metallic, and Brilliant White metallic exterior color options. It will also receive three new interior design packages, two of which feature leather trim. The two leather-trimmed options offer five colors each.
BMW 5 Series
Thanks to a new V8 engine option and a plug-in hybrid mode, there’s a BMW 5 Series for every kind of driver. The new V8 sports an optimized crankcase, larger turbochargers, and a maximum output of 530 horsepower and 750 lb-ft of torque. The plug-in hybrid variant gets a longer driving range and available intelligent all-wheel drive.
BMW M4 Coupe and Convertible
These sleek cars now come standard with the M Competition package. It includes a six-cylinder in-line engine with M TwinPower Turbo technology, which produces 450 horsepower, an Adaptive M suspension system with electronically controlled dampers, a specialized configuration for the Dynamic Stability Control system, the Active M Differential, an M Sport exhaust system, and some aesthetic tweaks, like specially designed seats.
Plug-In Hybrids
BMW electrified vehicles just got a little safer for pedestrians. From summer 2019 onward, BMW plug-in hybrids will announce their presence with a signature sound, using a set of speakers. It’s meant to alert pedestrians to the car’s presence without disturbing the driver and passengers. Plug-in hybrid models will also boast newly developed high-voltage batteries, which will increase both range and efficiency.
BMW Drive Recorder
All of those cameras on your car are great for driver-assist features — and now, you can export that video footage to your smartphone. Record spectacular scenery and racetrack maneuvers with the available BMW Drive Recorder. In the event of an accident, it automatically records 20 seconds before the impact and 20 seconds afterward.
