Buick’s total United States sales were up 10.4% in July with a total of 22,960 vehicles delivered, while retail sales were up 12.7% at a total of 20,628 vehicles. The brand’s success was brought about by significant retail growth from a number of key models, including the best July on record for the Enclave and best month ever for the Encore.

Buick’s biggest mover for the month was surprisingly not the Encore, but rather the Enclave. Buick sold a total of 7,249 Enclaves in July, up 7% at retail and 9.9% overall. Encore sales were no slouch at a total of 6,923 units delivered, up 1.4% year-over-year and delivering the 31st consecutive month of growth. To date, sales of the Encore are up 16% at 43,344 units delivered.

Buick’s two newest additions to the lineup were also major contributors in July, with sales of the Cascada totaling 633 units and sales of the Envision totaling 1,421 units. Thus far, Buick has sold a total of 4,704 Cascadas and 2,947 Envisions. Buick also notes that its new crossover is selling at a days-to-turn average of 21 days.

The Regal also had a big month with its biggest month at retail in 5 years, and total sales rose 49.7% at a total of 2,307 units delivered. Through seven months, the Regal is the only one of Buick’s three pre-existing cars to grow its sales over 2015. LaCrosse sales were down 31.6% in July, and sales of the Verano were down 13.1%.

Through seven months, Buick’s overall sales are 62 vehicles better than its sales through July 2015. At retail, sales are up 5.7% with a total of 114,105 vehicles sold.
