2019 Chevrolet Silverado 1500

Chevrolet has set its starting price for its 2019 Silverado 1500 Regular Cab at $29,895. This MSRP marks a significant difference from its entry-level four-door extended cab model, which is $3,900 more expensive.

It is fairly low in price, but it comes with its own limitations. Consumers can only purchase the regular cab in a Work Truck trim level with a long bed configuration.

For engines, Chevy fans have the choice between the 5.3-liter V8 engine with Active Fuel Management or the 4.3-liter V6 engine.

While it has fewer options than the previous model, it is available in both rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive. Its powertrains also come with a 3.42 rear axle ration. The prior models came with 3.08 and 3.23.

A return to variety

Chevrolet returns to offering lots of variety with its 2020 Silverado lineup.

For the 1500, it will receive new Vertical Trailering Mirrors and Adaptive Cruise Control. Fans can expect a new 10-speed transmission. For those who want to keep an eye on what they are hauling in the bed, the Silverado 1500 will include a Bed View Camera.

Its HD models will feature five trim levels, including the Work Truck, Custom, LT, LTZ, and High Country.

While the 2019 Silverado 1500 regular cab falls short in the variation department, Chevrolet is set to pull out the stops with its next line of Silverado pickup truck models.
