Cadillac sold a total of 24,769 vehicles around the world in July, up 20.9% from its global total from July 2015. The brand cites the continued success of its two newest models—the CT6 sedan and XT5 crossover—as well as the popularity of the ATS in China.

The all-new XT5 has already ascended into the position of the brand’s best-seller with a total of 8,130 units delivered in July. Sales of the CT6 were also impressive at 1,234 units delivered. Since hitting the market earlier this year, the XT5 and CT6 have amassed total global sales of 19,511 units and 4,825 units, respectively.

Sales of the ATS were up 32% in July with a total of 4,983 units delivered, and sales of the XTS were up 12.9% at 3,189 units. Global sales of the Escalade were up 1.9% at 3,455 units. Through seven months of sales, the XTS is up 2.4% at 28,344 units sold worldwide, and the Escalade is up 4.3% at 23,838 units.

“Product substance forms the foundation of our disciplined approach to global expansion,” said Cadillac President Johan de Nysschen. “Elevating every aspect of the business is how we earn incremental volume growth while simultaneously building brand prestige.”

The United States was once again Cadillac’s top market by a large margin with a total of 14,341 vehicles delivered, up 1.3%. Retail sales in China were up 89.7% at a total of 8,757 units, and retail sales through July are up 23.9% at 54,575 units. Sales in Canada were also up 1.4% in July at 859 units.

Through July, Cadillac’s global sales total 153,937 units, an increase of 1.5%.
