With Christmas Season in full swing, its normal to seek out family-friendly festivities to help celebrate the holiday. While these can be fun and engaging, sometimes they lack variety. Why not opt for a car-themed event for a change of pace when planning your next winter outing?

Now through January 16, visitors can experience Cadillac House’s new exhibit dubbed “Visionaire Racing.” Cosponsored by Cadillac and Visionaire, the display is based on Japanese miniature 4WD model-making and racing competitions from the 1980s. The exhibit was designed not only as a retrospective tribute to  Japanese mini-4WD car racing trend, but also as a way to commemorate Cadillac’s 2017 racing season.

Considering it’s the largest mini-4WD racing track on the East Coast, it’s definitely worth seeing for anyone visiting the New York area this holiday season. Either bring your own model car, or build your own on-site. Cadillac House will also have cars available for rent.

This free exhibit is open to the public on weekdays from 12 to 7 pm as well as on weekends until 5 pm. Cadillac House is located at 330 Hudson St, New York, NY 10013. Participate in the mini-4WD races each Sunday to prepare for the grand finale competition which will be held at 1 pm on Sunday, January 7, 2018.

Per the Cadillac House website, please note that adult accompaniment is required for guests under 18 years of age. Also, those with young children might want to avoid visiting the new exhibit on Sundays due to the anticipated heavy traffic of the racing events.
