Cadillac Sales Increase in November Thanks to SRX
Cadillac sales rose 1.8% in November on the strength from a typically impressive month of sales for the SRX and a surprising increase for both the Escalade ESV and the XTS.
Cadillac sales in the United States totaled 13,390 units in November, just eclipsing the 13,148 units sold in November 2014. More importantly, a solid November puts Cadillac just 120 units behind its pace through 11 months last year, making the possibility of a cumulative year-over-year sales increase a definite possibility.
Cadillac’s best-seller was once again the SRX, of which 5,087 units were sold for a 52.7% year-over-year sales gain. To date, Cadillac has sold 61,819 units of the SRX in the United States, a 27% increase through 11 months.
The XTS was up 16.4% in November with sales totaling 1,976 units. Escalade ESV sales were also up 16% with a total of 1,309 units, bringing its year-to-date sales increase to 34.1%.
Sales of the Cadillac ATS were down 9.9% in November, while CTS sales were down 50% and ELR sales were down 56.8%. Escalade sales were down 20.6% for the month, but year-to-date sales remain up 7.5%.
