Cadillac Soon to Release the New 2018 XTS
Despite the summer lull in Cadillac news, the brand recently revealed a preview of the new 2018 Cadillac XTS. Considering that the XTS first materialized in 2012, it’s been long overdue for a makeover. While the powertrain stays the same, the new model does include updates to the car’s appearance, technology, and chassis.
Cadillac enthusiasts will be pleased at the softer rear edges on the new 2018 XTS body. It will also provide consumers with more customizable options like 10 exterior colors, new interior trim colors, and refreshed wheel designs. Passengers will appreciate the increased padding and heating capacity of the new upholstery. Cadillac has also renovated the front and rear fascias as well as LED headlights and taillamps for a more modern look.
Technology perks include the cutting-edge CUE infotainment system which links users to common apps like audio, climate, phone, and navigation. It also has Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility. Besides catering to contemporary tech-savvy passengers, the new XTS has up-to-date safety features like automatic emergency braking, lane departure warning, collision warning, following distance indicators, blind zone warning, and adaptive cruise control.

As far as the chassis goes, the new 2018 XTS model boasts a quieter, smoother ride thanks to more cabin insulation and a revamped tire design that minimizes road noise. Passengers will definitely appreciate the more comfortable driving experience.
