Cadillac tweeted valentines to competitors like BMW, Lexus, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Tesla and others yesterday for Valentine’s Day. Yes, you read that right.

The surprisingly positive, sweet messages was a rather genius marketing ploy from Cadillac’ creative agency, Rokkan.

Some got a witty response from its competitor.

Jaguar stole Cadillac’s heart with this punny response: “Should we Escalade this to the next level?’

Lexus responded back, “Aren’t you a bit old for us *swipes left*.”

As intense as some of the exchanges get on the Twitterverse nowadays, it’s refreshing to see some humor in the midst of everything else.
