Cadillac sales climbed significantly in December, rising 28.7% and solidifying a year of overall positive sales gains for the brand. Cadillac delivered 20,787 vehicles in December thanks to all but one vehicle in its lineup pulling down double-digit year-over-year sales gains, bringing its year-end total to 175,267 vehicles sold throughout 2015.

In December, sales of the ATS were up 40% at 3,451 deliveries, the ELR was up 14.4% at 135 deliveries, Escalade was up 20.3% at 2,743 deliveries, Escalade ESV was up 31.3% at 1,916 deliveries, SRX was up 43.5% at 7,031 deliveries, and XTS was up 34.9% at 3,070 deliveries.

Cadillac’s year-end sales totaled 175,267, up 2.6% from 170,750 units sold in 2014. Despite a down year for sedans and coupes industry-wide, Cadillac excelled on the strength of its best-selling SRX and resurgent Escalade/Escalade ESV.

SRX sales were up 28.5% at 68,850 units delivered, Escalade sales were up 9% at 21,230 units delivered, and Escalade ESV sales were up 33.7% at 14,691 units delivered.

Cadillac will be looking to improve upon its impressive 2015 performance this year with the launch of the CT6 flagship sedan and the SRX-replacing XT5 crossover.
