It’s T minus seven days until the kickoff of the Chicago Auto Show. Yesterday, we brought you a comprehensive post on which vehicles to expect at the show, and today we’re building on that with Toyota’s announcement that it will be bringing Camry and Corolla special editions for the world to see.
Camry Special Edition
The Camry Special Edition is based on the 2016 Camry SE and adds sporty features to the sedan’s interior and exterior. These features include 18-inch alloy wheels with gloss black-painted accents, smoked taillights, a power moonroof, blue stitching on the seats and blue interior accents, a sport meter cluster, Entune Audio plus, and Qi wireless charging. Two exterior colors will be offered: Blue Stream Metallic, which will match the car’s blue interior accents; and Blizzard Pearl. Only 12,000 units will be produced beginning in August 2015.
Corolla Special Edition
For those who prefer slightly smaller cars, there’s the Corolla Special Edition. Just 8,000 units will be produced, and will feature unique 17-inch alloy wheels, a black interior with red contrast stitching, red accents on the dash and door trim, and Special Edition floor mats. This Corolla will be offered in three available colors: Absolutely Red, Black Sand Pearl, and Super White.
Attendees at the Chicago Auto Show will get to see these unique models in person, but the rest of America will have to wait until their August release.
