Chevy recently sent out a series of e-mail invitations to the Corvette C8 unveiling to members of the media. That invite listed the location of the reveal as California.

To be specific, the Corvette unveiling will take place in Orange County. Orange County is located in the greater Los Angeles area, housing several cities such as Santa Ana, Irvine, and Anaheim, the home of Disneyland.

Where exactly in Orange County the mid-engine Corvette model will make its debut is still unknown. Nevertheless, Orange County is an affluent area of the L.A. region, making it an ideal spot for showcasing this top-of-the-line sports vehicle.

The Chevrolet Corvette C8 wasn’t always set to premiere during the summer season. It was initially slated for an appearance at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit back in January of this year.

Production delays also delayed the debut of this Chevrolet Corvette model. Fortunately, the sunny Southern California environment should make an ideal backdrop for this momentous moment in the Corvette’s history.
