Chevrolet Offers Colorado Discount for February
It’s only two months into the new year and Chevrolet is already implementing an aggressive sales strategy, partially inspired by the desire to beat Toyota Tacoma sales. To this end, the OEM is offering a $3,000 discount on most 2018 and 2019 Colorado models during the month of February.
The deal specifies a $3,000 total cash allowance for current GM owners. It also includes $500 in customer cash. One caveat of the deal is that you have to schedule your new truck’s delivery date by Feb. 28.
Starting MSRPs
Just to give you an idea of how much a discount this is, here are the starting MSRPs for different trim levels of the 2018 and 2019 Colorado models.
- 2018 Colorado: Base ($21,195), WT ($24,695), LT ($28,095), Z71 ($30,695), ZR2 ($41,395)
- 2019 Colorado: Base ($22,395), WT ($25,895), LT ($28,695), Z71 ($31,795), ZR2 ($42,395)
So, for a 2018 WT trim Colorado, the discount brings the purchasing price down to $21,695. And for a 2019 base trim Colorado, the starting price would be $19,395.

Reasons to bring home the 2018 Colorado
The 2018 Colorado is slightly more affordable than the 2019 version but has many of the same perks. Active Tow technology makes it simpler to align the truck and attached trailer when backing up. Chevrolet also introduced heated exterior mirrors for this model year. Different powertrains offer customized performance to suit varying preferences for energy. A standard 3.6-liter V6 yields 308 horsepower and 275 lb-ft of torque, though you can also upgrade to the diesel engine which churns out 181 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque.
Reasons to bring home the 2019 Colorado
The 2019 Colorado elaborates on the equipment and amenities the previous model year established. The model comes in three new exterior colors: Shadow Gray Metallic, Pacific Blue Metallic, and Crush. There’s also a new second microphone on the passenger side, as well as a new HD Rear Vision Camera on the LT, Z71, and ZR2 trims. The 2019 Colorado also boasts a heated steering wheel with the Luxury Package.
