Chevy Announces Tahoe and Suburban Texas Editions
Everything’s bigger in Texas, including the cars. Maybe that’s why the Chevy Tahoe and Chevy Suburban do so well in the Lone Star State; in fact, Texas is the number one state for Tahoe and Suburban sales. (It’s also the Silverado’s largest market.) To honor the Lone Star State, Chevy will be releasing special Tahoe and Suburban Texas Editions this month. Last month, Chevy also announced the 2015 Silverado University of Texas Edition.
The Tahoe and Suburban Texas Editions will be offered in the LT and the LTZ trims and feature unique badging. Drivers can get even more content with specialty packages. The package for the LT boosts the price by $2,195 while the LTZ’s price is bumped up by $1,095 for the special content.
Included in the special package of options are 20-inch polished aluminum wheels (LT) or 22-inch premium painted aluminum wheels (LTZ), an additional nine-month SiriusXM subscription, navigation radio (on LT, already standard on LTZ), and the Max Trailering Package.
“Texas is Chevy truck country and the new Tahoe and Suburban Texas Editions celebrate that passion like Friday night football,” commented Sandor Piszar, director of Chevrolet Marketing. He added, “These SUVs are part of the very fabric of Texas life.”
