The vehicles in the Mitsubishi lineup may be considered ideal for urban environments, due to their nimble handling and impressive fuel economy ratings. Yet, a Mitsubishi can just as easily adapt to the great outdoors.

Campers Scotland, a U.K.-based campervan retailer, recently provided evidence for this claim with their Mitsubishi Delica D:5 Terrain camper vehicle.

What To Know About Purchasing Used: Buying used truck tips

As the name suggests, the D:5 Terrain camper is based upon the Mitsubishi Delica, Mitsubishi’s cabover van model. Campers Scotland has added a few exclusive features that make the D:5 Terrain model perfect for outdoorsy adventurers.

A kitchen, complete with the kitchen sink, is housed inside, powered by solar panels located on the vehicles roof. The power from these solar panels is stored in a lithium super-power battery pack. Campers will also find a fridge inside the vehicle.

The vehicle, which houses four passengers, reportedly comes standard with a 2.4-liter inline-four engine. However, drivers can also upgrade to a 2.2-liter turbodiesel engine. The vehicle also makes use of a four-wheel drive system.

Lending a Hand: Mitsubishi Roadside Assistance

”Like no other camper on, or off the road, this 4WD campervan will take you and your crew off-road to wild and rugged places,” explains Gary Hayes, Campers Scotland’s founder and owner. “This ground-breaking, off-road campervan has multiple features you would expect from a top of the range Campervan with a host of cutting edge features designed for the truly adventurous spirit.”

If you’d like to travel off the beaten path in a Mitsubishi model, you can purchase the Mitsubishi Delica D:5 Terrain camper for £29,995 ($39,116.50). The estimated time of arrival for this vehicle in the U.K. is next month, so you can start planning your next camping trip right away.
